The Prophet’s Mosque in Medina welcomed over 9.7 million worshippers during the first 10 days of Ramadan this year. Worshippers gathered to offer prayers inside the mosque, on its roof, and in its expansive courtyards.

The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, in collaboration with relevant authorities, completed extensive preparations to manage the large influx of pilgrims. This included ensuring high-quality services and smooth operations for the worshippers.

To facilitate access and ensure efficient movement, the authority deployed monitors throughout the mosque, managing the flow of pilgrims.

Hundreds of thousands of worshippers also participated in iftar meals and offered congregational prayers at the holy mosque. Carpets were laid across the courtyards and expansions to accommodate the growing number of worshippers, while essential services, including the provision of Zamzam water, were fully prepared to meet the needs of the blessed pilgrims of the Almighty.
