Over 300 artworks on display at Imam Ali Holy Shrine's International Islamic Arts Exhibition
An international art exhibition at Imam Ali Holy Shrine in Najaf is showcasing more than 300 artworks in celebration of the imam’s blessed birthday.
According to Hussein Rahimi, the head of the Shrine’s Islamic Culture Department, the exhibition features a diverse collection of pieces, including paintings, calligraphy, Islamic decorations, artistic patterns, and miniatures. One section is specifically dedicated to artworks depicting the life of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), from his birth to his martyrdom.
Rahimi emphasized the exhibition’s international scope, noting the participation of artists from Lebanon, Iran, Pakistan, and Iraq, which adds a unique diversity to the event.
“The exhibition is a beautiful reflection of our shared Islamic heritage and the legacy of Imam Ali (peace be upon him),” he said, as reported by the Imam Ali Holy Shrine website.
