The city of Skardu in northern Pakistan witnessed a large public gathering marking the Arbaeen—the fortieth-day observance—of Iranian martyrs. Hundreds of thousands of people from across Baltistan traveled to the city to take part in the commemoration.

Held at the Municipal Stadium under the auspices of Anjuman-e-Imamia Baltistan, the event brought together scholars as well as religious and social figures representing diverse Islamic schools of thought. The program opened with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by speeches highlighting the sacrifices of the martyrs and emphasizing the importance of unity within the Islamic world.

Allama Sayed Rahat Hussain Al-Hussaini praised the sacrifices of the martyrs and commended the efforts of the Pakistani government and military in maintaining stability. Sayed Baqir Al-Hussaini, in turn, expressed his appreciation for the attendees and for the official cooperation that contributed to the event’s success.

In his address, Sayed Baqir Al-Hussaini, President of Anjuman-e-Imamia Baltistan, also extended his gratitude to the local administration, participating scholars, and leaders who had traveled from distant regions to attend the gathering.

The event saw broad participation from all segments of society, with attendees chanting religious and commemorative slogans. The gathering reflected a strong sense of public engagement and reaffirmed a collective commitment to the values of sacrifice, unity, and steadfastness.
