The Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority in European countries, His Eminence Sayed Murtada Al-Kashmiri, affirmed during the closing ceremony of the 18th Rabi’ Al-Shahada International Cultural Festival that the message of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) was never confined to a specific time or place. Rather, it marked the emergence of a renewed human consciousness—one that transcends eras and remains ever-present.

He explained that Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) intended his stand to be a powerful cry against deviation, which soon evolved into a living moral conscience accompanying humanity across generations, guiding it whenever darkness and injustice prevail.

Speaking from the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), His Eminence stated that Karbala did not remain merely a historical event recorded in books, but instead became a universal criterion by which truth is distinguished from falsehood, justice from oppression, and responsible action from passivity. He emphasized that the Hussaini approach endures as long as human values endure, remaining present in every arena where truth is sought and principles are put to the test.
