The Al-Abbas Holy Shrine took part in the Karbala International Book Fair, held as part of the 18th Rabi’ Al-Shahada International Cultural Festival, organized by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to commemorate the birth anniversaries of the blessed Imams.

Mr. Muhammad Al-Araji, Head of the Holy Shrine’s pavilion at the book fair, stated, “The Holy Shrine participated in the exhibition through five of its departments: Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, Islamic and Human Sciences Affairs, the Supreme Commission for Heritage Revival, the Al-Wafi Foundation for Documentation and Studies, and the Holy Quran Scientific Complex.”

He added that the pavilion featured a wide and diverse collection of publications, including scientific encyclopedias, peer-reviewed academic journals, and religious and doctrinal books, all researched, prepared, and published by the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine.

Al-Araji noted that this year’s participation was marked by a notable increase in the number of publications compared to previous years, particularly encyclopedias, with approximately 15 new titles presented. Among the most prominent was the Friday Sermons Encyclopedia, which was displayed for the first time after being thoroughly researched and documented by the Holy Shrine.
