Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported today that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli military campaign, which began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 64,455, with the majority of victims being women and children. The number of injured has climbed to 162,776. Many victims are still trapped under the rubble or lying in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense crews remain unable to reach them due to continued bombardment and dangerous conditions.

The updated figures come after a series of deadly Israeli attacks overnight, which claimed the lives of at least 14 more people and left dozens injured, primarily in Gaza City.

According to the same sources, the Israeli army launched heavy airstrikes on the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, where Israeli drones reportedly dropped dozens of bombs on residential homes. Additional strikes targeted areas around Tamous Junction in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, while a residential apartment in a tower in Tal Al-Hawa, in the southern part of Gaza City, was also hit.

In a separate incident, an apartment in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, in western Gaza City, was bombed, along with a tent sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Shalihat area, also in the city’s west.

The sources also reported that the Israeli army detonated an armored vehicle loaded with explosives between residential homes near the Sheikh Radwan Pool. Meanwhile, an airstrike targeted tents of displaced families in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis.

As the offensive continues, humanitarian access remains critically limited, and the full extent of casualties is yet to be confirmed, particularly in areas that remain unreachable by emergency crews.
