Quranic Calligraphy Exhibition opens in Kashmir during Ramadan

An exhibition showcasing Quranic and Islamic calligraphy has been organized by the Tebyan Quranic Institute in Srinagar, Kashmir, to mark the holy month of Ramadan.

The event, which began on the 23rd day of Ramadan, will run for three days, featuring works by renowned calligraphers. The exhibition has drawn significant interest from visitors keen on Islamic and Quranic art.

Quranic calligraphy, an artistic form of writing using the Arabic script, originated in the 7th century A.D. and was traditionally used to transcribe the Holy Quran on parchment or papyrus.
