Following the direct guidance of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine delegation in Lebanon distributed approximately 10,000 pieces of clothing to Syrian families affected by hardship in several Lebanese cities.

The head of the delegation, Mr. Sabah Al-Janabi, explained, “Under the guidance of Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine distributed around 10,000 pieces of clothing to Syrian families in need. This initiative is a humanitarian effort that reflects the spirit of generosity, solidarity, and the vital need to support those in difficult circumstances.”

He further stated, “This campaign is part of a series of continuous efforts by the Holy Shrine over the past three months to provide both material and moral support to the Syrian families in Lebanon.”

Al-Janabi emphasized that the delegation is also working to provide essential aid, including food, clothing, and medicine, to ease the suffering of families enduring harsh conditions due to the severe cold and snow in northern Lebanon.

“This humanitarian initiative is more than just a clothing distribution,” he said. “It is a message of love and solidarity from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain to all those in distress, reaffirming that the values of giving and compassion are at the core of our humanitarian mission.”
