A delegation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain visited Pakistan during the month of Sha’ban, where they raised the banner of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) in Islamabad, in the presence of religious figures and a large crowd from various segments of society.

This visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between the Holy Shrine and religious institutions in Pakistan, particularly with the country’s Shia community, one of the largest Shia populations in the world.

During their stay, the delegation held meetings aimed at supporting cultural and awareness programs that promote the message of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), reinforce authentic Islamic values, and spread the heritage of the Ahlulbayt along with the ideals of the Husseini revolution.

The delegation also met with religious authorities and scholars, including His Eminence Sheikh Anwar Ali Al-Najafi, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority in Pakistan. In these discussions, they explored ways to further disseminate the teachings of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and the powerful message of sacrifice he carried.

Religious figures welcomed the delegation’s visit, praising the pivotal role of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain in spreading Islamic thought and fostering unity among Muslims worldwide.

It is important to note that this is not the first visit of its kind. The Holy Shrine has previously made several similar visits to Pakistan, further solidifying its commitment to fostering global Islamic unity.
