The Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo, Egypt, is one of the world's largest museums dedicated to Islamic art.

It houses a vast collection of over 100,000 artifacts dating back to ancient times and various regions of the Islamic world.

The museum was inaugurated on December 28, 1903, during the era of Khedive Abbas Helmy II, and has recently marked its 121st anniversary.

Over the years, it has undergone several expansions and renovations to accommodate its growing collection.

The museum is located next to the National Library in the Egyptian capital.
