The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) revealed that it provided emergency humanitarian relief aid to about 400 Syrian families who were displaced to Lebanon due to the current security situation in the country.

The head of the Medical Relief Mission of the Holy Shrine, Dr. Hussein Qubaisi, said that the presence of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain in Lebanon to provide relief to the displaced Syrian people came based on the directive of the Supreme Religious Authority and the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey.

“We strive with all our efforts to serve the people and it is our duty as servants of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him),” added Qubaisi.

Humanitarian aid was also distributed in the Rayak area to the Lebanese people who returned to their destroyed homes.
