The Religious Affairs Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine inaugurated the Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) Religious School in Diwaniyah Governorate, aiming to provide believers with opportunities to study Islamic seminary sciences and establish an academic environment that promotes religious knowledge and strengthens Islamic culture within the community.

The school follows the curriculum adopted by the Najaf seminary, making it a new addition to the network of religious educational institutions overseen by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, both inside and outside Iraq.

Sheikh Ahmed Al-Safi, Head of the Religious Affairs Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, stated that the shrine oversees more than 100 religious schools in Iraq and abroad, in addition to the Religious Institutes Division, which manages more than 25 religious institutes, as well as various outreach institutions and centers.

He added that these institutions share a common mission of advancing society, promoting awareness and knowledge, and responding to religious directives that emphasize the importance of learning and seeking knowledge.
