A new women’s Quran memorization center, the Maryam Bint Muhammad Bin Eid Al-Muhannadi Center, has opened in Al Khor, Qatar, offering specialized Quranic education for women and girls.

The center aims to promote Quran education, strengthen Islamic values and national identity, and provide tailored learning programs for different age groups and educational levels. Its programs include Quran memorization and review, Tajweed and recitation training, and reflection on Quranic meanings and their application in daily life.

Center Director Maryam bint Saeed Al-Muhannadi said the initiative seeks to go beyond memorization and recitation by helping participants incorporate Quranic values into their character and everyday behavior.

“We envision this center as more than a place to memorize the Quran; we want to turn it into a ‘House of the Quran,’” she said, emphasizing the center’s commitment to quality education, proper upbringing, and lasting impact on participants and their families.
