University of Karbala explores scientific and academic cooperation with Volgograd State Medical University

The University of Karbala has discussed prospects for scientific and academic cooperation with a representative of Russia’s Volgograd State Medical University, as part of its efforts to expand international partnerships and strengthen collaboration in the medical and educational fields.

University of Karbala President Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid said the university welcomed the Russian university’s representative to explore avenues for cooperation and strengthen international partnerships in the medical, educational, and research sectors.

He explained that the discussions covered several areas, including the development of medical cooperation, the exchange of academic expertise and knowledge, and the promotion of joint research among faculty members and researchers. The two sides also explored the possibility of launching joint scientific programs aimed at enhancing academic and research standards at both institutions.

Wajid emphasized the importance of engaging with universities around the world and benefiting from advanced academic experiences. He noted that the University of Karbala is committed to expanding its international partnerships to help develop the skills and capabilities of students and researchers.

For his part, Abdul Karim expressed his university’s interest in strengthening cooperation with the University of Karbala and expanding joint initiatives that contribute to the scientific and academic development of both institutions.
