The Public Relations Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine received a European Union delegation as part of its program to host official and visiting delegations and introduce them to the shrine’s religious, historical and cultural landmarks.

During the visit, the delegation toured the shrine precincts and viewed several of its most prominent religious, historical and cultural sites.

The delegation members expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and praised the shrine’s distinctive landmarks and spiritual atmosphere.

The Public Relations Department said hosting official and visiting delegations from Iraq and abroad is part of its mission to highlight the Holy Shrine’s religious and cultural heritage and provide visitors with an opportunity to learn about its significance.
