Thousands of mourners took part in the largest Arbaeen Walk in Madagascar's capital, Antananarivo, on Tuesday to commemorate Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and the martyrs of Karbala.

Organized by Dar Al-Hikma Hawza and University, the procession traveled several kilometers through the city's streets before concluding near the international airport. Participants marked the occasion in an atmosphere of devotion and remembrance.

The event featured religious, cultural, and community service activities, with organizers distributing food, drinks, commemorative scarves, and clothing bearing the Arbaeen slogan. A mourning gathering was also held, highlighting the tragedy of Karbala and the enduring values of Imam Hussain's stand for justice and reform.

Participants carried Hussaini flags and banners throughout the march, while thousands of publications in the local language were distributed to introduce the public to the message of Arbaeen and the humanitarian principles of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).

The procession concluded with a Hussaini mourning ceremony and congregational prayers attended by a large gathering of followers of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).
