The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's Youth Social Development and Rehabilitation Department is continuing its "Imam Hussain Knowledge Tent" program as part of its Arbaeen service plan, offering cultural, educational, and social activities for pilgrims walking to Karbala.

Department head Mohammed Mohsen Al-Nasrawi said the initiative features interactive stations that promote the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), including a "Did You Know?" section with educational content and a "Message to the Imam Al-Mahdi" station, where pilgrims can write letters that are symbolically presented alongside a proxy pilgrimage to Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).

Other stations include the "Wall of Eternity," where families honor fallen martyrs, and the "Arbaeen Competition," which rewards participants for answering religious and cultural questions. Pilgrims also receive commemorative pins marking their participation in Arbaeen 1448 AH.

The program extends beyond cultural activities by providing legal consultations, children's educational art workshops promoting values such as sacrifice and cooperation, and personal grooming services for pilgrims after their journey.

To help ensure visitor safety, the Knowledge Tent also distributes identification wristbands for children and elderly pilgrims, making it easier to reunite them with their families in the large Arbaeen crowds.
