The Al-Sadiq Al-Amin Intellectual and Cultural Division in Mosul, affiliated with the Religious Affairs Department of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), organized the annual "Eid Al-Wilayah" festival in cooperation with the residents of Tal Afar and in coordination with the Shrine of Sa'd bin Aqil (peace be upon him).

Held under the slogan "Eid Al-Ghadir Unites Us," the event celebrated the blessed occasion of Eid Al-Ghadir and sought to reinforce the values of guardianship and allegiance to the legacy of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him). The festival featured a variety of religious and cultural activities highlighting the significance of Ghadir within Islamic thought and tradition.

Sheikh Khalil Al-Ilyawi, head of the Al-Sadiq Al-Amin Division in Mosul, stated that the festival commenced with a speech by Sayed Muntadhar Al-Haidari, who addressed the significance of the event of Ghadir, its intellectual and doctrinal dimensions, and the importance of adhering to the guardianship of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

Al-Ilyawi added that the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority in the region, Sayyid Hussein Aslan, subsequently delivered a welcoming address to the attendees and praised the people of Tal Afar for their commitment to commemorating this blessed occasion. He described Ghadir as a cornerstone in the completion of the faith and a pivotal event in the history of the Islamic nation, while highlighting the virtues and distinguished status of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in Islam.

The festival also featured the recitation of poetry and religious verses celebrating the occasion, with poets and vocalists expressing the joy of believers in an atmosphere marked by faith, devotion, and festivity.

The event concluded with the honoring of participants, organizers, and contributors whose efforts contributed to the success of the festival and underscored the importance of preserving and commemorating this significant religious occasion.
