The Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation announced the launch of its annual Eid clothing distribution campaign for Iraqi orphans in preparation for Eid Al-Adha.

The Foundation, which operates under the patronage of the Supreme Religious Authority in Iraq, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Al-Sistani, stated that the initiative will benefit approximately 100,000 orphans across the country. Specially designated shopping spaces were arranged to provide high-quality clothing while allowing the children to choose their own garments with dignity and comfort.

In an earlier press statement, the Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation revealed that it allocates more than 10 billion Iraqi dinars each month to support impoverished and vulnerable families. The Foundation has also established 13 residential complexes and 400 housing units for beneficiaries in need.

In addition, the organization continues to support academically outstanding orphaned students, helping many pursue higher education and graduate as doctors, engineers, and professionals in various fields.

Currently, the Foundation provides care for more than 211,000 orphans through monthly financial assistance and 14 integrated support services. These services include healthcare, psychological counseling, educational and vocational support, as well as legal assistance for the orphans’ families.
