UN Secretary-General António Guterres has strongly condemned the recent Israeli air strikes in Gaza that killed several civilians, including children.
“The Secretary-General strongly condemns the killings of civilians in Gaza due to Israeli air strikes, including many children,” UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said at a news conference.
Guterres also condemned all actions that undermine the ceasefire and endanger civilian lives, emphasizing the importance of both parties honoring their commitments.
“The commitments to the ceasefire must be fully upheld,” Dujarric added. “Any acts that risk harm to civilians or hinder humanitarian operations must be avoided.”
