The representative of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in the Kurdistan Region, Sheikh Ali Al-Qarawi, met with the Kurdistan Regional Minister of Endowments, Dr. Pashtwan Sadiq, at his office in Erbil to explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation and joint coordination.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the nature of the religious and cultural activities organized by the Holy Shrine in cities across the region, including mechanisms to facilitate the organization of celebrations, mourning ceremonies, and other events.

Sheikh Al-Qarawi expressed his gratitude to the Ministry for its ongoing support and collaboration, which he noted has played a key role in the success of the Shrine’s programs in the region. In turn, Minister Pashtwan Sadiq affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to strengthen cooperation and open new avenues of coordination in support of shared religious and humanitarian values.
