His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, representative of the Supreme Religious Authority in Karbala, was honored to visit the Holy Shrines of Imam Ali Al-Hadi and Imam Hasan Al-Askari (peace be upon them) in the sacred city of Samarra. He was accompanied by members of the Board of Directors and other officials from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), and was warmly received by the Secretary-General and officials of the Al-Askariyain Holy Shrine.

Mr. Abbas Asim Al-Khafaji, Head of the Media Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, stated that Sheikh Al-Karbalaey toured ongoing construction and development projects within the Holy Sanctuary, reviewing progress and future plans.

During the visit, Sheikh Al-Karbalaey affirmed the readiness of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain to offer full support to the Al-Askariyain Shrine, particularly in service-related initiatives. He also held meetings with the shrine’s administration to discuss infrastructure improvements and ways to enhance services for pilgrims, especially during major religious occasions.
