3B IQD were dedicated to accommodate Lebanese arrivals
The Ministry of Immigration dedicates 3 billion IQD for Lebanese arrivals, in coordination with the Holy Shrines, to provide the best services.
The Ministry of Immigration has formed a special operations room to accommodate families arriving in Iraq from Lebanon, based on the Ministry's Law No. 21 of 2009, to ensure the nice welcoming of guests.
Ali Jehangir, the ministry's spokesman, said, "The ministry has begun coordinating with the Holy Shrines to accommodate arrivals at the modern cities and hotels affiliated with the Holy Shrines, depending on prepared databases to register them, noting that most coming people are heading to Karbala and Najaf."
He pointed out that "the registration process is ongoing and that the ministry is working within the country's geographical borders, with the possibility of coordinating with other government agencies or the Red Crescent and the Ministry of Trade if the situation develops and the need increases."
It is stated that the government dedicated 3B IQD to host the Lebense arrivals at the best service level.
