More than 900 female volunteers mobilized to serve pilgrims at Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain
The Women’s Relations Division at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain announced the completion of all organizational and administrative preparations for receiving and deploying female volunteers to serve pilgrims during the Days of Tarwiyah, Arafah and Eid Al-Adha in Holy Karbala.
According to the Division, more than 900 female volunteers and supervisory staff have been assigned to various service locations. This includes 100 volunteers at the Hussaini Camp and 30 volunteers at the Sayed Al-Shuhada Service Complex.
The initiative also includes specialized support teams, including 30 female physicians and 10 female translators, to assist with healthcare services and communication with female pilgrims.
In addition, around 700 volunteers have been distributed across departments and units affiliated with the Al-Zaynabiyat Division to provide organizational, medical and guidance services for female pilgrims visiting the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) during the Day of Arafah rituals.
