Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain holds meeting with Hussaini mawakib ahead of Muharram and Arbaeen pilgrimages
As part of preparations for the commemoration of the 10th of Muharram and the Arbaeen pilgrimage, the Department of Hussaini Mawakib and Committees at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain—responsible for coordinating Hussaini mawakib (pilgrim service processions)—held a preparatory meeting with the leaders and coordinators of Hussaini mawakib in the holy governorate of Karbala.
Head of the department, Muhammad Karim Aziz, said the meeting focused on organizational and service-related preparations aimed at ensuring optimal services for pilgrims and mourners visiting the holy city during the major religious occasions.
He explained that discussions emphasized adherence to the directives issued by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, while reinforcing cooperation and high-level coordination among all participating mawakib and committees.
Aziz also stressed the importance of patience, discipline, and respectful interaction with visitors and mourners, noting that such conduct reflects the values and standards associated with serving Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain continues to place special emphasis on strengthening coordination with Hussaini mawakib and mourning committees through regular meetings and organizational initiatives aimed at improving services during major pilgrimages and religious commemorations.
