The Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, through its Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, organized Eid Al-Fitr prayers in Ghana and Benin.

The initiative was carried out by the African Studies Center as part of its religious and outreach programs aimed at reviving Islamic rituals and strengthening religious engagement across the African continent.

Head of the center’s preaching unit, Muslim Al-Jabri, stated that Eid prayers were held in both countries with broad participation from local Muslim communities.

He added that the program also featured a post-prayer lecture emphasizing unity and brotherhood among Muslims, and promoting the shared values that bring communities together through Islam.
