Sheikh Ahmed Al-Safi, the preacher of the Eid prayer in Karbala, affirmed that the Supreme Religious Authority has authorized the disbursement of religious dues to those affected in Iran and Lebanon.

Speaking during the Eid prayer sermon in Karbala, Al-Safi stated: "We condemn in the strongest terms the unjust war waged against Iran and Lebanon, and we call upon all Muslims and the free people of the world to denounce it and to stand in solidarity with the Iranian and Lebanese peoples."

He added: "We appeal to all influential international actors and nations of the world—particularly Islamic countries—to exert their utmost efforts to halt this war," emphasizing that "religious and humanitarian duty compels us to extend a helping hand and assistance to our afflicted brethren."

Al-Safi further noted that "the Supreme Religious Authority has opened the door to goodness and blessings, authorizing the disbursement of religious dues as a means of alleviating the suffering of those affected in Iran and Lebanon."
