“Kawthar Al-Isma” Encyclopedia documents the scientific and cultural output of the festival
His Eminence Sayyed Nabil Al-Hasani, head of the Scientific Committee of the Fourth International Kawthar Al-Isma Cultural Festival, affirmed that the scientific, intellectual, and cultural activity witnessed today at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) is the result of the generous patronage of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, as well as the diligent follow-up of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine.
He added that the Kawthar Al-Isma encyclopedia provides comprehensive documentation of the events and activities of the festival’s three previous editions.
Al-Hasani noted that this encyclopedia serves as a holistic intellectual and cultural reference, encompassing seven main fields:
1. Winning scientific research papers presented at the festivals and associated conferences.
2. Outstanding scholarly, heritage, and scientific works submitted to the specialized writing and research competition on the life of the Lady of the Women of the Worlds (peace be upon her), in four languages: Arabic, English, Persian, and Urdu.
3. Award-winning short stories from the literary competition.
4. Winning poems from the classical Arabic poetry competition.
5. Distinguished artistic and calligraphic works from the drawing and calligraphy competition.
6. Digital artworks in the fields of design and electronic production.
7. Media and documentary reports that covered the festival’s activities and events.
His Eminence emphasized that the publication of this encyclopedia represents a significant step in preserving the intellectual and creative contributions of participants and documenting the festival’s role as one of the most prominent cultural platforms dedicated to the life and legacy of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her).
