In support of Palestine: Representative of Supreme Religious Authority announces free treatment for Palestinian patients
Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, has affirmed the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s readiness to provide Palestinian patients with free medical treatment, including transportation costs, as part of its humanitarian support for the Palestinian people.
Al-Karbalaey made the statement while receiving a Palestinian patient currently undergoing treatment at one of the Holy Shrine’s healthcare facilities.
“The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine is prepared to receive patients from Palestine with various medical conditions and across different specialties, providing them with free treatment,” Al-Karbalaey said. He added that the initiative aims to support the Palestinian people amid the difficult circumstances they are enduring.
He said the Holy Shrine would continue to follow patients’ medical cases, including those requiring multiple stages of treatment, until they achieve full recovery. He also affirmed the readiness of the Shrine’s affiliated healthcare institutions to provide the necessary medical care.
Al-Karbalaey expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to receive and serve Palestinian patients during the difficult circumstances facing the people of the Gaza Strip.
The initiative is part of the broader humanitarian efforts of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to provide free medical care to patients in need, under the direction of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority.
