The Holy Quran Institute at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has concluded its summer Quranic courses for female students with a ceremony held in the Holy Courtyard, marking the culmination of an intensive period of educational and instructional activities.

Amal Al-Mutawari, an official in charge of Quranic activities, told Karbala Now that the closing ceremony marked the culmination of the efforts made throughout the courses. The event was supported by several departments and divisions of the Holy Shrine, including the Security, Shrine Maintenance, and Transport departments, as well as the Zaynabiyat Division and staff of the Holy Quran Institute.

She explained that the courses were held over several days from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., featuring programs focused on Quran memorization and recitation.

According to Al-Mutawari, students in the intermediate and preparatory stages memorized a portion of the Quran equivalent to Surah Al-Baqarah, while the program for primary school students focused on memorizing the 29th chapter.

The courses extended beyond Quranic studies to include lessons in Islamic jurisprudence, ethics, and moral education. These activities were designed to help develop well-rounded personalities while strengthening the students' connection with the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

Al-Mutawari added that the Holy Quran Institute plans to maintain communication with participants after the summer courses conclude by establishing a dedicated Telegram channel. The channel will facilitate continued engagement and the organization of various Quranic programs and activities throughout the year as part of the Institute's ongoing educational initiatives.
