Renewed calls to reconstruct the historic Jannat Al-Baqi Cemetery in Medina have emerged from followers of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), activists, and some human rights groups, coinciding with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him).

Campaigns on social media and other media platforms have urged the restoration of the graves of the Imams buried in Al-Baqi, particularly that of Imam Hassan (peace be upon him), describing the site as an important part of the Islamic world's religious and historical heritage.

Supporters say the condition of the cemetery remains a longstanding concern and have called for the graves to be rebuilt in a manner that reflects their religious significance while preserving their historical and cultural legacy.

The campaigns also appealed to Islamic institutions and organizations concerned with cultural and religious heritage to support efforts to restore Jannat Al-Baqi, describing the issue as a longstanding concern for many Muslims around the world.
