The General Secretariat of the Al-Askariyain Holy Shrine organized a large women’s mourning ceremony to commemorate the demise anniversary of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her), with the participation of more than 1,200 women from the governorates of northern Salah al-Din and Diyala.
The ceremony featured a religious and educational lecture highlighting the life of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her), her pivotal role in defending the Imams of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), and a review of her immortal and steadfast stances. The gathering also included recitations of elegiac poetry expressing deep sorrow over this tragic occasion, all conducted in an atmosphere filled with grief, devotion, and reverence.
