The Media Department’s Exhibitions Division at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine is set to participate in the 29th Muscat International Book Fair, which kicks off on April 24 and runs for ten days. The event will host over 673 publishing houses from more than 36 Arab and international countries.

Ali Mamitha, Director of the Exhibitions Division, told Karbala Now News Agency that the fair is "a major cultural event in the Middle East," offering a valuable platform for dialogue, idea exchange, and showcasing creative works.

The Holy Shrine will present 450 titles spanning intellectual, cultural, and ethical topics, reflecting the depth of its publishing efforts. Mamitha emphasized that the participation is strongly supported by Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaey, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, who views such events as vital for promoting reading and cultural exchange, especially in diverse and international settings.

The Holy Shrine continues to actively engage in local and global book fairs to spotlight its cultural initiatives and share its intellectual contributions with wider audiences.
