Imamia Student Organization of Pakistan visits International Media Center to strengthen intellectual and cultural cooperation
Hassan Zaidi, representative of the Imamia Student Organization in Pakistan, met with Mr. Haidar Al-Mangooshi, Director of the International Media Center at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), in the holy city of Karbala.
Speaking to Karbala Now News Agency, Al-Mangooshi stated, "This meeting, which took place at the end of last week, marks the first official engagement between a senior representative of the Imamia Student Organization and the International Media Center."
The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Ashraf Hussain Zeeshan, manager of the Center’s Urdu-language platform, who presented the range of services provided for Urdu-speaking pilgrims visiting the holy shrines. Discussions focused on strengthening collaborative efforts, launching intellectual and cultural initiatives, and enhancing media cooperation between the two institutions.
Al-Mangooshi noted that the delegation from the Imamia Student Organization presented a detailed report outlining the organization's 52-year history, including its programs aimed at intellectually, ideologically, and educationally guiding youth across Pakistan.
For his part, Hassan Zaidi, representative of the Secretary-General of the Imamia Student Organization, emphasized the importance of future collaboration. “Both parties agreed on the need to exchange expertise and implement joint programs aimed at fostering unity within the Islamic nation,” he said. Zaidi also highlighted the International Media Center’s keen interest in the proposed initiatives.
He concluded by affirming that the Imamia Student Organization is committed to strengthening ties with all the holy shrines in Iraq through continued communication and cooperation.
