During the nights of the holy month of Ramadan, the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine organized a Quran memorization competition for children in Indonesia. The competition, organized by the Shrine’s International Quran Preaching Center in Indonesia, featured multiple memorization categories as part of its ongoing Ramadan activities.

Dr. Abdullah Beyk, the branch manager, explained, "This competition is part of a series of intensive Quranic activities held during Ramadan, aimed at encouraging young people to connect with the Holy Quran, memorize it, and reflect on its teachings. Alongside the competition, we also offered additional programs, such as completing the memorization of the Quran, thematic interpretation, and a ten-day Ramadan course, all to promote Quranic culture through diverse and integrated approaches."

Dr. Beyk added, "The program was conducted in two phases: the first was in-person, with participants from the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, while the second was held via social media to include children from outside the capital. This allowed us to reach as many children as possible and give them the opportunity to participate in this unique Quranic event."

The event concluded with an iftar banquet for the participants, creating a spiritually enriching atmosphere that reflected the essence of the holy month and highlighted the significance of these activities in nurturing faith and values.
