Many academics and experts in sustainable development attended the first specialized national conference that the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (PBUH) held in cooperation with the University of Kufa.

Regarding the conference held under the title (Social Responsibility of the Academic Institution in Sustainable Development and Community Advancement), the President of the University, Professor Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, stated to the Karbala International Agency, "The conference aims to shed light on the role of universities and academic institutions in promoting sustainable development and contributing to improving society through social responsibility and enhancing cooperation between academic institutions and society, in addition to their role in achieving comprehensive development goals."

He said, "The conference witnessed the presence and interaction of interested figures, academics, and development experts."
