Karbala Centre for Studies and Research, affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, continues its preparations and arrangements for holding the 8th edition of the Al-Arbaeen Pilgrimage Conference, which will be held on 23–24 Safar 1446 AH, corresponding to 27–28 August 2024 AD.

Abdul Ameer Aziz Al-Quraishi, the Centre's Director, said, "Most of the preparations have been done, and we have received over 160 papers in the humanitarian, social, medical, and applied axes, 30 of which were by foreigners and Arabs."

He added, "All research papers have been reviewed and evaluated, and only 87 of them were accepted, while the rest were dismissed because they didn't comply with conference conditions and themes."

It is stated that over 120 guests from different countries around the globe will participate in the conference
