The Holy Shrine announced organising an international conference on Imam Zainul Abidin's heritage

The head of the Imam Zainul Abidin (PBUH) Foundation for Studies and Research affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Mr. Ghassan al-Khurasan, announced to the Karbala International Agency the start of preparations for the first international scientific conference entitled Educational and Social Dimensions in the Legacy of Imam Zaynul Abidin, under the auspices of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai.


He stated, "The conference will be held on the 30th and 31st of October under the foundation's supervision in cooperation with the University of Wasit and under the slogan “A part of Imam Zainul Abidin's legacy."


He pointed out, "The conference aims to study the legacy of Imam Zainul Abidin and highlight his influence on the educational and social dimensions, as well as enhance research cooperation between researchers and scientific and academic institutions participating in the conference. Noting that the conference will include five axes (educational psychology, educational sociology, educational techniques and technology, ethics and values, and social issues/problems and solutions), indicating that the last date for submitting research is the 15th of September."


He concluded, "The conditions that participants must follow include solid scientific research, must not have plagiarism or be published in another place, and must not be less than 15 A4 sheets of paper. Participation must be submitted in DOCX format, with a font size of 18 for the main titles, 15 for the body, and 13 for the footnotes.


There must be a statement of the participant’s place of work, official email, and phone number. The summaries should not exceed 150 words in both Arabic and English, and the keywords for the research should be written after them in both Arabic and English."

It is stated that there will be a good financial prize for accepted research.
