International participation in the 17th edition conference held at Karbala University

The University of Karbala witnessed the launch of the activities of the Al-Zahraa International Scientific Conference in its 17th edition, which is organised by the International Federation of Muslim Women in Iraq in cooperation with the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, entitled (Al-Zahraa Kawthar Mu'taa and Manhal Al-Ulama, in the presence of several governmental, academic, and religious figures from various Islamic sects.


The President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Bassem Nayel Al-Saeedi, stated to the Karbala International Agency "the importance of giving Lady Al-Zahra (PBUH) sufficient space in scientific research, calling for the intensification of such scientific activities that contribute to building society through their scientific outputs, and hoping that the conference will achieve the objectives for which it was organised."


He added, "The conference witnessed a distinguished presence of official and religious figures from various Islamic sects."


He pointed out that the conference calls for "the importance of women achieving their entitlement to reach various positions based on their important role in building society, which is stated by many Quranic verses, noting that the conference addresses the contemporary challenges facing the Islamic community through over 70 research papers that address educational, jurisprudential, Qur'anic, philosophical, narrative, and linguistic axes."
