Harvard University delegation visits the Mosul Museum
Harvard University conducted a tour to see the effects of the destruction that occurred to the museum during the control of ISIS terrorists over the city of Mosul.
The Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities stated on its official website, "The delegation conducted a tour of the Mosul Museum and commended the efforts of the Iraqi-French team in restoring the damaged pieces, expressing its readiness to participate in supporting this important project."
They added, "The delegation included the researcher in arts, Dr. Eve Sada, the researcher in archaeology and anthropology, Sarah Shelley, and the head of the German delegation in Shirqat, Dr. Karin Radner."
It is stated that they were hosted by the head of the Mosul Cultural Museum, Professor Zaid Ghazi."
