The Canteen Department, affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced its plan for the Holy Month of Ramadhan.

Adnan al-Naqeeb, the head of the department, said, "The department developed a special plan for Ramadhan, where the department's cadres prepared the places designated to receive fasting pilgrims during the blessed month of Ramadhan. It included preparing a Ramadhan tableland at the Al-Qibla Gate, where more than (5000) meals are served daily for men and women."

He added, "Meals will also be distributed inside the Shrine's canteen halls by cards, with approximately (3,500) meals per day, in addition to two other locations.

It is stated that the canteen department provides and distributes thousands of meals daily, including food and drink, to pilgrims coming to Karbala.
