The Al-Sebtain Foundation for Psychiatry, Autism, and Community Rehabilitation held a training course for the institute's cadres for six days at the headquarters of the Al-Sebtain Academy for Autism and Developmental Disorders through specialised international cadres.

Dr. Osama Abbas Al-Saadi, the Foundation's official, said, "The course is about developing the skills of workers specialised in autism with the participation of sixty male and female trainees from all the centres of the Al-Sibtain Psychiatric Foundation, explaining that the course professors are from Britain, America, Canada, and Pakistan."

He stated, "The aim of holding this course is to qualify the institution's cadres in multiple stages: a short-term stage represented by continuous short specialised courses; a medium-term stage, which is a 1-year diploma stage in coordination with the Tehran University of Medical Sciences; and a long-term stage concerned with graduating students registered in the college. The newly opened Speech and Occupational Therapy Faculty at Al-Sebtain University for Medical Sciences - the international branch of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
