Sayyida Khadija Women's Hospital launches a special service to predict heart diseases
Lady Khadija al-Kubra (PBUH), a specialised hospital for women affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, celebrated the official launch of testing services for the level of lipoprotein type A.
Dr. Moataz Al-Sabah, Director of the Preventive Cardiology Services Development Programme at the Health and Medical Education Authority affiliated with the Holy Shrine, said, "On World Rare Disease Day, the lipoprotein A-level screening service was launched."
He added, "This examination is one of a kind in Iraq, which helps in predicting cardiovascular diseases at the first stages, noting that this provides the opportunity for medical cadres to act quickly with this group and take appropriate measures to prevent the occurrence of these diseases."
