The College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for girls held its first international conference for medical and pharmaceutical research on February 2, 2024 AD, entitled "Medical Research between Theory and Application" in partnership with the Uruk Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supplies Factory in the central conference hall at the university.

Dr. Zainab al-Sultani, the President of Al-Zahraa University, stated, "The university seeks cooperation with all scientific and academic institutions, appreciating the role of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and Chief Clerk, his eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, for the scientific and academic path at the university."

Dr. Noor Al-Dabbagh, Dean of the Pharmacy College, said, "The aim of holding such a conference is to support and enhance the research field, supply the medical industry, and to know more about the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industries."

She added, "The conference witnessed lectures and research discussions in the medical field in the presence of many participants, after which an exhibition of posters and pharmaceutical products was set up on the university's campus."

It is stated that the conference witnessed an academic presence by several Iraqi universities, representatives from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher Education, and scientific figures from Germany, Algeria, and Iran."
