The research sessions within the Rabee al-Shahada International Festival in its 17th edition were held in the Khatam al-Anbyiaa hall inside the Holy Shrine.

In a statement to Karbala International Agency, Nabeel Al-Hassani, head of the festival's scientific committee, said, "The research sessions consisted of four research sessions and included 12 researchers from several countries (Iraq, Britain, Yemen, Iran, and Sudan). The research sessions varied according to the diversity of the intellectual and cognitive presentation of the researchers, as he described it."

He added, "The research competition was distinguished. Compared with previous years, the prizes and number of winners are higher, as in the past, the winners were three, but now they are ten. 

He concluded, "The winners are ten, from Iraq, Algeria, and Iran, and the festival's commute adopts the printing procedures to collect them in a book after reviewing the research papers, while the first winner's book has the opportunity of translating his paper from Arabic into English in order to share it globally."
