Al-Kafeel University qualified in the Najaf qualifiers for the Iraqi Universities Debates Tournament after winning against Al-Tusi University.

14 Iraqi universities in Baghdad are participating in the final qualifiers, and the winning university will be selected to represent Iraq in the coming world tournament held in Qatar (Doha).

The tournament represents a cultural competition held between Iraqi universities, managed by the International Academy for Leadership and Development in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Al-Kafeel University. To form a scientific team representing Iraqi universities to participate in the World Universities World Tournament, which will be held in Qatar, Doha, next year.

It is stated that five universities have participated in the qualifications in Najaf: Al-Kafeel University, Kufa University, Al-Furat Al-Awsat University, Jābir ibn Hayyān Medical University, and Sheikh Al-Tusi University.
