Imam Hussain Holy Shrine hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Commerce to discuss how to deliver aid to the Palestinian people in Gazza and transfer the wounded to receive treatment in the Holy Shrine's hospitals.

Abdul al-Ameer Taha, the head of the Public Relations Department at the Holy Shrine, said, "We hosted the delegation of the Iraqi Commerce Ministry, headed by the Undersecretary, Mr. Sattar Al-Jabri, and the accompanying delegation. They discussed several topics, including how to deliver aid to our Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip."

He stated, "The meeting was about the Holy Shrine initiative to help Palastanian citizens and treat them in the Shrine's medical facilities."

The Deputy Minister of Commerce, Mr. Sattar Al-Jabri, said, "This visit aims to construct brigades of cooperation between the Ministry and the Holy Shrine to accomplish several projects aimed at providing support to the general community."

He added, "The efforts made by the Holy Shrine's general secretariat and affiliates are very distinguished, as they supported Iraqi governments in humanitarian and medical initiatives for earthquake victims in Syria."
