The State of Tanzania commemorates the death anniversary of Lady Zainab al-Kubra (PBUH)
The Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the al-Abbas Holy Shrine held a condolence recitation on the death anniversary of Lady Zainab (PBUH) in the African country of Tanzania.
Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, the director of the department's Centre for African Studies, said, "The centre commemorated the death anniversary of Lady Zainab (PBUH) on the African continent by holding a funeral recitation in the state of Tanzania as part of the centre's programme in Africa to indicate her virtue, role, and position in the Islamic nation."
He added, "Al-Abbas Holy Shrine aims throughout its Centre for African Studies and its Preachers to educate society about the principles of the Islamic religion, its features, and identity, and to implement a group of informational, intellectual, and humanitarian programmes."
He concluded, "The coordinator of the preaching centre in Kigoma, Tanzania, Sheikh Ammar Mawlid, organised the commemoration in the presence of many AhlualBayet followers."
