Multinational researchers were honoured to visit Imam Ali Holy Shrine
Researchers from Germany, Portugal, and Europe were honoured to visit the Imam Ali Holy Shrine (PBUH). They are researchers in comparative religion, Islamic civilization, and Islamic heritage.
The head of the Public Relations Department, Sahib Al-Bussaisi, stated that "a delegation of researchers from Germany, Portugal, and Europe had the honour to visit Imam Ali Holy Shrine and expressed admiration for the Shrine's architectural designs and its historical sites.
He further explained that "the delegation visited the Al-Rawdhah Al-Haidariyyah Library and was acquainted with the rare books, manuscripts, and stone inscriptions it contains."
Dr. Francisco José Luis, one of the members of the delegation, expressed his great joy for this visit, saying, "I am delighted to be present here today. This visit was a beautiful opportunity to see the artistic masterpiece of Islamic architecture and the unique engineering designs done by the al-Shaikh al-Baha'i, noting that it is their first visit to the Holy City of Najaf."
It is stated that the delegation includes Dr. Francisco José Luis, a specialist in comparative religion of Portuguese origin from Luxembourg; Dr. Walid Ziad from Pakistan, a specialist in Persian studies; and Dr. Karina Dreher from Germany, a specialist in the history of Islamic sciences.
