The Holy Quran House at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has inaugurated a new branch in the Al-Aziziyah District of Wasit Governorate as part of its ongoing efforts to expand Quranic activities and programs and strengthen the Quranic movement across Iraq.
Wissam Nadheer Al-Dalfi, head of the Quranic Media Center, told the shrine’s official website that the inauguration ceremony was attended by Sheikh Dr. Khair Al-Din Ali Al-Hadi, head of the Quran House Department, along with religious and academic figures, tribal leaders, Quran enthusiasts, and representatives of various Quranic centers, divisions, and branches.
Al-Dalfi noted that the new facility is the 29th branch established by the institution as part of its nationwide network of Quranic schools and branches, reflecting its continued commitment to expanding Quranic education and promoting engagement with the Holy Quran.
He added that the branch includes dedicated classrooms for Quranic studies and an administrative complex, providing an appropriate environment for educational programs and a wide range of Quranic activities and events.
The opening aligns with the Holy Quran House’s mission to embed Quranic culture within society and broaden access to educational and awareness-raising programs. It also seeks to strengthen engagement with the people of Wasit Governorate and establish a suitable platform for Quranic initiatives that promote religious knowledge and nurture a deeper connection with the Holy Quran throughout the region.
